Collection

Collection is available for celebration cakes and selected wedding cakes from our kitchen.

Your confirmed collection date and time will be provided with your order. Please arrive within your arranged collection window, as cakes are prepared and scheduled around each collection.

I recommend collecting your cake in an air-conditioned vehicle with enough flat, secure space for the cake box.

Delivery

Delivery is available for selected orders throughout Auckland and surrounding areas, subject to availability.

Delivery fees are calculated based on distance, travel time and the requirements of your cake. Please provide your delivery address or venue when enquiring so I can provide an accurate quote.

Larger and tiered cakes may require professional delivery and setup to ensure they arrive safely.

Wedding Cake Delivery & Setup

For wedding cakes, delivery and venue setup are available and may be recommended for larger or tiered designs.

I’ll coordinate an appropriate delivery window with you or your venue and carefully set up your cake ready for your celebration.

Additional charges may apply for extended travel, difficult venue access, parking, ferry transport or setup requirements.

Transporting Your Cake

Once collected, please place your cake on a flat, level surface in your vehicle. The passenger footwell or a flat boot space is recommended. Avoid placing the cake on a car seat, as the angled surface can cause the cake to tilt.

Keep the vehicle cool with air conditioning and avoid direct sunlight. Drive carefully, particularly around corners, over speed bumps and during sudden braking.

Once the cake has been collected, ShugarCoat cannot be responsible for damage caused during transportation, handling or storage by the customer or another third party.

Someone Else Collecting

You're welcome to arrange for someone else to collect your cake on your behalf. Please ensure they are aware of the collection time and cake transport instructions, as responsibility for the cake transfers upon collection.

Late Collection / Failed Delivery

Running late?
Please get in touch as soon as possible if you're unable to make your arranged collection time. As collection times are scheduled around other orders and commitments, I may not always be able to accommodate significant delays.

For deliveries, please ensure someone is available to receive the cake at the agreed time and that I have any necessary venue access information beforehand.
